That 90's Band

That ’90s Band boasts 10 years of experience playing and creating music together and invites fans to rock out with them as they bring classic alternative rock, grunge, and metal songs back to life through live performances. The band was formed in 2012 by Brian Smith, who reached out to Jon Lauman, a bandmate from a previous band, to join the project. The lineup was completed with Neil Forker, Christopher Trueblood, and later Mike Fultz, and the band played their first show in 2013. Over the years, members have come and gone, including Brian in 2014 and Matt Janz in 2018; they remain friends and occasional performers with the band. Jason Meinerding joined as the vocalist in 2019 but left in early 2021 and was replaced by Jake Resler in the summer of 2021. Jon Lauman left the band in August 2021 to pursue original music projects, and Ryan Grinstead took over the drumming duties shortly after. The band has played at various venues and events in the Indianapolis area, including opening for Everclear in 2015.
