YOU ARE WORTHY.
Worthy Brewing, located in Bend, Oregon, was founded in 2012 by Roger Worthington, and first opened its doors February 2013. Worthy brews a full portfolio of craft beers and operates two full-time pubs –its original location on the east side of Bend and Taps and Tacos downtown. An advocate for the environment, a promoter of science education, a cycling and music enthusiast, and a serious beer drinker – Worthington’s passions are the backbone of Worthy.
Worthy’s Guiding Mantras: Earth First. Beer Second. Drink Up. Dream On.
Worthy is driven to challenge the status quo – to continually strive for the highest quality with its craft beers and guest experiences by prioritizing education, community, sustainable operations, and responsible innovation. Worthy recognizes its influence as a business and strives to do what’s right for the benefit of its community. Taking care of its backyard, while remembering to enjoy life.
The vision of Worthy Brewing is to challenge the innovation boundaries in craft beer and hospitality; to be renowned as Central Oregon’s leader in sustainable best practices for brewpubs.
The mission of Worthy Brewing is to create the highest quality craft beer, to cultivate memorable experiences by celebrating community, and to innovate through environmentally responsible processes.
Worthy Brewing’s core values are: EARTH.
Sustainable Business Strategy
Some of the ways Worthy works toward sustainable business strategy is by focusing on process efficiencies, alternative energy solutions, waste reduction, repurposed and innovative packaging, local sourcing, and education to our staff and community about what we’re doing to be more sustainable, and encouraging others to join in too. Do more with less.
The Worthy Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Bend, Oregon. Founded in 2015, WGC is a collective of business owners, entrepreneurs, energy specialists, agriculturists, scientists, and astronomers working together to teach our community to respect and protect the beauty of our planet. Through ties with educational institutions and local environmental groups, we are able to participate in important natural science research and deliver those results to the public. The WGC mission is to showcase the wonders of the planet (and beyond) while emphasizing the need to protect this special place we call home.
